P.A.W.S. Across Oswego County A big thanks to Daver Bozak and the members of PAWS who ran several fund raisers and sent us the proceeds to assist the K9 units in the Federation of SAR. This group does it's fine work in Central New York. It's mission is three-fold: assist local animal shelters by donations and voluntary services promote responsible pet ownership through education and special programs assist the local community and animal shelters in the spaying and neutering of companion animals by monetary and material donations, and voluntary services

Rachel, Nevada 4-H Club The 4-H Club in Rachel, the "Silver Nuggets", consists of 6 kids and their advisors. We were so overwhelmed by their generosity we just had to go see them. Two of Massasauga's SAR team happened to take a trip to Las Vegas and made a point of visting with and talking to these girls and their community. Not only were they surprised that we wanted to visit with them, but also that New York actually has forests and mountains. Kevin and Linda Yousey from MSAR thoroughly enjoyed their visit and Rachel's hospitality.

Ruff Wear On September 12th we got a call from these fine folks. They wanted to know how many and what size of boots we could use. We contacted NJSAR, who had people on scene, to see what they anticipated needing. As soon as flights were resumed, Ruff Wear shipped out the boots to NJSAR who then got them directly to the K9 units on scene. Thanks to Ruff Wear and their great support!
